PPG Launch!
Hi Fellow Planetizens!
Project Planning Green is excited to kick start its operations to create the most fun and one of a kind idea-sparking urban and sustainability planning platform! With monthly idea series and weekly updates, it is easy to keep up and fun to discover new ideas. The platform will breakdown complex and technical ideas into easily digestible short blogs, trivia, podcasts, and posts to help you keep up with the latest community planning trends and galvanizing sustainable visions. The materials are meant to be simple enough for anyone who is interested in planning to understand and fun enough to crack a smile.
In this post, I wanted to go over just a little bit about me, this platform, and why I wanted to create Project Planning Green. To get started, I am a planner who is pretty passionate about planning as a subject matter and all the facets related to it. I love exploring ideas, delving into facts, analyzing problems, and finding solutions to planning related problems. What I have realized over time, is that even though most of our planning problems impact the day to day lives of almost everyone around us, very few of us are aware of the problems and the surrounding facts, and much fewer of us are aware of the solutions, if there are any solutions. Project Planning Green seeks to change that by creating a public that is well-informed, action-oriented, and empowered to transform their communities.
Project Planning Green will also be featuring its own social media feeds (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) so you can follow it on any platform that is most comfortable for you. The releases will follow the following format:
- Monthly Topic Series:
- 4 Idea Articles released weekly
- 2 Podcast released bi-weekly, coinciding with the second and last weekly article for the topic
- Weekly social media updates
All scheduled releases will be published on Sunday evenings.
Lastly, please feel free to leave any feedback in the comment section or get in touch with us through the Contact Us page. We would love to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Project Planning Green
